Evolution in Islam
Islam does not reject evolution. There is a clear concept of evolution in Islam. Islam does not deny evolution in all animals except for humans. Human beings did not evolve and was created perfectly by Allah (Subhanahu wa ta ala) . This is mentioned in Quran.
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ
We created the human being in the best design .(Quran 95:5)
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ
Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low. (Quran 95:6)
Animals are adjusted to their environment all over the world. But all humans are the same all over the world and adapted nowhere to the surrounding area.
No feature of humans matches any kind of environment anywhere in the world. “Homo sapiens” have soft uncovered skin that does not provide heat or cold protection.
It is necessary to cover their skin in order to keep it protected from the sun, wind, and dust.No other animal needs such protection as they are already adapted to their environment.
As a result of their creation, humans are not able to defend themselves against other animals.All other animals have some sort of protection for their survival.
Unlike other animals, humans require grooming, such as bathing, cutting their hair, shaven nails, etc.
This therefore means that humans were not a product of the same evolutionary process that other species were subject to.
Big bang and evolution in Quran
Scientific view about big bang and start of life
According to scientific research:
First the Big Bang happened, when the known Universe was huge mass and it started expanding.
At the time of creation of the earth, there was all water on earth.
Life began in oceans.
Water was then the source of the first common ancestor of all animals. It is believed that the first ancestor that came out of water moved on his belly. After that, other animals with four legs and two legs began to emerge.
All the above facts are told in the Quran in two different verses. The following verse of Chapter Al-Anbiya (21:30) clearly explains about the Big Bang and then that all life was created from water.

Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe? (21:30)
Quranic verse about evolution in animals
And in the following verse, it is clearly told how life started in oceans. Then the first creautres moved on their bellies. From these creatures evolution started and two legged and four legged animals evolved (except for Human beings).
And Allah has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills: for verily Allah has power over all things. (24:45)
