Durood shareef is deed of Allah Subhanahu wa ta ala
We see that in this verse , Allah (subhanahu wa ta ala) is sending His blessing directly upon His dearest Prophet Muhammad (Salllaho alayhay wa alehe wabarik wa sallam) and we are ordered to make dua (supplication) to Allah (SWT) to send blessings and peace upon Prophet Muhammad (salallaho alayhay wa alehe wa barik wa sallam).
So Durood Sharif is one of the deeds of Allah (SWT) which we can also do. Durood Sharif is a dua. But when Allah SWT sends Durood Sharif, He is sending His blessings directly upon Prophet Muhammad (salallaho alayhay wa alehe wabarik wa sallam) but for us it is a dua of blessings from Allah (SWT) for His dearest Prophet Muhammad (Salallaho alayhay wa alehe wabarik wa sallam).
Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke Allah’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace. [Surah Ahzab 56].
May Allah Subhanahu wa ta ala make it beneficial for everyone. Ameen (Allahumma sallay ala Muhammad ew wa ala alehe wbarik wa sallam). Please also read “Morning Durood Sharif”.
Jazak Allahay Khair.
