Five Beautiful Duas for happiness with audio
Following are five duas for happiness.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said :
If any Muslim is afflicted with distress and sadness and makes the following dua, then Allah (SWT) will remove his distress and sadness and replace it with joy and happiness [ Masnad Ahmad ]
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي
Transliteration : Allahumma inni ‘abduka ibnu ‘abdika ibnu amatika naasyati bi yadika, maadin fiyya hukmuka, ‘adlun fiyya qadaa’uka. As’aluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka sammayta bihi nafsaka aw anzaltahu fi kitaabika aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqika aw ista’tharta bihi fi ‘ilm il-ghayb ‘indaka an taj’al al-Qur’ana rabeea’ qalbi wa noora sadri wa jalaa’ huzni wa dhihaab hammi
Translation : “O Allah, I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your handmaid, my forelock is in Your hand (i.e. You have total control over me), Your command over me is forever executed, Your decree over me is just.” I ask You by every name belonging to You which You named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur’an the life of my heart and the light of my bosom, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety. Dua for Happiness #2
The following Dua 2 from Hadith is to, remove grief, sadness ,incapacity, laziness, cowardice ,miserliness, heavy debt & being overpowered by other men.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Transliteration : Allāhumma ‘innī ‘a`ūdhu bika mina ‘l-ḥammi wa ‘l-ḥuzn, wa ‘l-`ajzi wa ‘l-kasal, wa ‘l-bukhli wa ‘l-jubn, wa ḍala`id-dayn, wa ghalabatir-rijāl.
Translation : “O Allah! I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by (other) men.” [Sahih Bokhari 374]
Dua for Happiness #3
Asking forgiveness from Allah : Whoever persists in asking for forgiveness, Allah will grant him relief from every worry, and a way out from every hardship, and will grant him provision from (sources) he could never imagine.[Hadith Ibn Majah]
There are many beautiful words in Ahadith and Quran for asking forgiveness , The best one is called “Sayyidul istighfar “ . This is written below.
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Transliteration : “Allahumma anta rabbi, laailaaha illa anta , Khalaq tani wa aana abduka , Wa aana aalaa ahdika ,waawaa dika mastataatu , Aauzubika minshari maasanatu , Aabu ulaka bini matika alayya , Wa aabu ubizambi , Faghfirli Fainnahu layagh firuzzu nu ba illa anta.
Translation : O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god except You. You created me and I am Your servant. And I abide by Your oath and promise [that I may honour it] to the best of my ability. I seek refuge with You from every evil I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for surely there is no one who can forgive sins except You . [Sahih Bokhari ]
Dua for Happiness #4
Reading Durud Shareef (Salawat) for dear Prophet Muhammad (SAW) : Whoever is reading Durud Sharif all the time during his non-obligatory act of worship, “Then that will take care of all his worries, and his sins will be forgiven.” [Hadith Jamia Tirmidhi. ]
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيد ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آل مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيد
Transliteration : Allahumma Salle ‘Alaa Muhammadinw Wa’Alaa Aali Muhammadin Kamaa Sallaeta ‘Alaa Ibraaheema Wa’Alaa Aaali Ibraaheema Innaka Hameedum Majeed. Allahumma Baarik ‘Alaa Muhammadinw Wa’Alaa Aali Muhammadin Kamaa Baarakta ‘Alaa Ibraaheema Wa’Alaa Aaali Ibraaheema Innaka Hameedum Majeed.
Translation : “O Allah, bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as You have bestowed Your favor on Ibrahim and on the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious. O Allah, send Barakah for Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have sent Barakah Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious [Sahih Bokhari ]
Dua for Happiness #5
This dua is for facing any sort of hardship or difficult matter or grief . This dua was also told by Dear Prophet Muhammad (Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him and his family) to his daughter Sayyida Fatima (May Allah be pleased with her) .[ from two separate Ahadith in Tirmidhi , Nisai respectively ]
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Transliteration : Ya Hayyiyu Ya Qayyum , Birahmati Astaghis , Aslihli Shani Kullahu wala Takilni ila Nafsi Trfata Ain
