11 Duas against enemy from authentic Ahadith
May Allah protect us all from enemies, Ameen . Following are 11 duas against enemy . These duas against enemy are taken from authentic reference of Ahadith. These are different supplications for protection from enemy and his fear. Read the Ahadith related to these duas and choose all or some of the duas accordingly.

#1 Dua
The dua which turns hatred to love Al-Hassan bin Hassan Narrated from Abdullah bin Jaffar that he said “If death or a terrible matter descends upon you, then receive it by saying:
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Transliteration : La iLaha illallah ul Haleem Al Kareem , Subhan Allahay Rabbil Arshil Azeem , Alhamdulillahy Rabbil Alamaeen.
Translation : There is no god but God, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to God, Lord of the Great Throne. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
Al-Hassan bin Hassan further said that governer Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf called Abdullah Bin Jaffer . When he was in front of the governor , Hajjaj said: I swear By Allah, I called you because I wanted to strike your neck, and now none of the household of anyone is more honorable to me than you. Ask me for anything you need. [Ibn Shaiba, Hadith 29179 لابن أبي شيبة (29179) ]
#2 Dua
When Allah’s (سبحانه و تعالي) Prophet (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) feared a (group of) people, he would say:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ
Transliteration : Allahumma inna naj’aluka fi nuhurihim, wa na’udhu bika min shururihim
Translation : O Allah, we make Thee our shield against them, and take refuge in Thee from their evils. [ Abu Dawud 1537 , Ahmad 19734 and other books]
#3 Dua Immediate protection from enemy
When enemy attacks
When Allah’s ( سبحانه و تعالي) messenger Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) was migrating to Madinah with his companion Abu-Bakr Siddique , one of the horsemen of enemies (called Suraqa bin Malik سُرَاقَةُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ) came very close to them to attack them. At that time Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) said this dua
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنَاهُ بِمَا شِئْتَ
Transliteration : Allahumma akfina hu Bima Sheta.
Translation : O Allah, protect us from him by whatever means You will.[Bukhari 3615]
Then his horse’s legs sank into the solid ground up to its belly, and he fell off it. He said: O Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم), I know that this is because of you; pray to Allah ( سبحانه و تعالي) to save me from my predicament, and by Allah ( سبحانه و تعالي) I shall divert away from you or anyone who is behind me of those who are seeking you. Here is my quiver, take one arrow. You are going to pass by some camels and sheep of mine in such and such a place, take whatever you need from thern. The Messenger of Allah (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) said: `I have no need of it. The Messenger of Allah (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) prayed for him and he was released, and he went back to his companions. The Messenger of Allah (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) and I continued on our way until we came to Madinah, where the people met him. ….Hadith continues [Bukhari 3615]
#4 Dua Powerful dua against all enemies
Haris bin Suwaid said that Abdullah siad :If any of you has a ruler and you fear from his arrogance and oppression, then say this dua :
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّـمَواتِ السَّبْعِ، ورَبَّ العَرْشِ العَظِيمِ، كُنْ لِي جَاراً مِنْ فُلاَنِ بْنِ فُلانٍ، وأحْزَابِهِ مِنْ خَلائِقِكَ؛ أنْ يَفْرُطَ عَلَيَّ أَحدٌ مِنْهُمْ أوْ يَطْغَى، عَزَّ جَارُكَ، وَجَلَّ ثَنُاؤُكَ، ولا إِلَهَ إلاَّ أنْتَ
Transliteration : Allāhumma Rabbas-samāwātis-sab`,
wa Rabba ‘l-`Arshi ‘l-`Aẓīm,
kun lī jāran min [here you mention the person’s name],
wa aḥzābihi min khalā’iqik,
an yafruṭa `alayya aḥadun minhum aw yaṭghā,
`azza jāruk,
wa jalla thanā’uk,
wa lā ilāha illā ant. [Al-Bukhari, Al-Adab Al-Mufrad (#707)]
Translation : O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, be for me a support against [such and such a person] and his helpers from among your creatures, lest any of them abuse me or do me wrong.Mighty is Your patronage,and glorious are Your praises.There is none worthy of worship but You.[Al-Bukhari, Al-Adab Al-Mufrad (#707)]
#5 Dua
Hazrat Ibn ‘bbas said, “When you go to a cruel ruler and fear that he will attack you, say (this dua 3 three times )
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَعَزُّ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ جَمِيعًا، اللَّهُ أَعَزُّ مِمَّا أَخَافُ وَأَحْذَرُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ، الْمُمْسِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعَ أَنْ يَقَعْنَ عَلَى الأَرْضِ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ، مِنْ شَرِّ عَبْدِكَ فُلاَنٍ، وَجُنُودِهِ وَأَتْبَاعِهِ وَأَشْيَاعِهِ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالإِنْسِ، اللَّهُمَّ كُنْ لِي جَارًا مِنْ شَرِّهِمْ، جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ، وَعَزَّ جَارُكَ، وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ
Transliteration : Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu a`azzu min khalqihi jamī`a, Allāhu a`azzu mimmā akhāfu wa aḥdhar, a`ūdhu billāhi ‘l-ladhī lā ilāha illā hū, almumsikis-samāwātis-sab`i an yaqa`na `ala ‘l-arḍi illā bi idhnih, min sharri `abdika [ Here you mentioned name of the person], wa junūdihi wa atbā`ihi wa ashyā`ih, mina ‘l-jinni wa ‘l-ins, Allāhumma kun lī jāran min sharrihim, jalla thanā’uk, wa `azza jāruk, wa tabāraka-smuk, wa lā ilāha ghayruk. [Al-Bukhari, 5/172.]
Translation : Allah is the Most Great, Mightier than all His creation. He is Mightier than what I fear and dread. I seek refuge in Allah, Who there is none worthy of worship but Him. He is the One Who holds the seven heavens from falling upon the earth except by His command. [I seek refuge in You Allah] from the evil of Your slave [ say the name of the person], and his helpers, his followers, and his supporters from among the jinn and mankind. O Allah, be my support against their evil. Glorious are Your praises and mighty is Your patronage. Blessed is Your Name, there is no true God but You. (Recite three times in Arabic.) [Al-Bukhari, 5/172.]
#6 Dua when the battle starts with the enemy
Narrated by Anas Bin Malik that when dear Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) used to start a battle with enemy , he (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) would say
اللّهُـمَّ أَنْتَ عَضُـدي، وَأَنْتَ نَصـيري، بِكَ أَجـولُ وَبِكَ أَصـولُ وَبِكَ أُقـاتِل
Transliteration : Allahumma inna naj’aluka fi nuhurihim, wa na’udhu bika min shururihim
Translation : O Allah, You are my strength and You are my support. For Your sake, I go forth and for Your sake, I advance and for Your sake, I fight. [Abu Dawud 3/42, At-Tirmidhi 5/572]

#7 Dua
Most Important dua for protection
Allah’s last Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) said that reading surah Al-Ikhlas [112] ,Al-Ifalaq [113] and Al-Naas [114] 3 three times every morning and evening will suffice a person for protection from everything.[Abu Dawud, hadith number 5082, Al-Tirmidhi, hadith number 3575]
Please remember not to forget reading AUZUBILLAH MINASHAITAN NI RAJEEM before your start reading Quran .That is why, it is included in the dua
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ (١) ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ (٢) لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ يُولَدۡ (٣) وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُ ۥ ڪُفُوًا أَحَدٌ (٤)
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡفَلَقِ (١) مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ (٢) وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ (٣) وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلۡعُقَدِ (٤) وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ (٥)
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ (١) مَلِكِ النَّاسِ (٢) إِلَـٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ (٣) مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ (٤) ٱلَّذِى يُوَسۡوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ (٥) مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ (٦)
Transliteration :
Auuzu Billahay Minshaitan ir Rajeem ( once) and then 3 times the following
Bismillahir Rehman ir Raheem
Qul Howalla hu Ahad , Allahus samad ,Lam Yalid , Walam Yulad , Walam Yakul Lahu , Kooffuwan Ahad
Bismillahir Rehman ir Raheem
Qul Aa Oozu, Birabbiil Fallaq, Min Sharri Ma Khalaq, Waa Min Sharri Ghasiqin Izaa Waqab
Bismillahir Rehman ir Raheem
Qul a’oozu birabbin naas ,Malikin naas, Ilaahin naas, Min sharril waswaasil khannaas, Allazee yuwaswisu fee sudoorin naas, Minal jinnati wannaas.
Translation :
I seek refuge in Allah from the Shaitan, the accursed
In the name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful.
Say (O Muhammad (SAW)): “He is Allâh, (the) One. (1) “Allâh-us-Samad [Allâh the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks)]. (2) “He begets not, nor was He begotten; (3) “And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.” (4)
In the name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful.
Say: “I seek refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of the daybreak, (1) “From the evil of what He has created; (2) “And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away) (3) “And from the evil of those who practise witchcrafts when they blow in the knots, (4) “And from the evil of the envier when he envies.” (5)
In the name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful.
Say: “I seek refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of mankind, (1) “The King of mankind — [] (2) “The Ilâh (God) of mankind, (3) “From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one’s heart after one remembers Allâh)[] , (4) “Who whispers in the breasts of mankind, (5) “Of jinn and men.” (6).
#8 Dua
Allah’s last Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) said that reciting this dua 3 three times in the morning and evening will protect a person, such that nothing can harm him, and no calamity shall befall him [Abu Dawud, hadith 5088, Al-Tirmidhi, hadith 3388]
بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Transliteration : Bismillahill lazi La Yadurru Ma-asmihi Shayyan Fil Ardi wala Fis Samai Wa Huwas Samiun Aleem
Translation : In the Name of Allah, Who with His Name nothing can cause harm in the earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing
#9 Dua
Allah’s last Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) said that The Prophet (SallaAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said that any Muslim who recites this supplication seven times in the morning and once more seven times in the evening then Allah shall provide Him what suffices all his worries
حَسْبِيَ اللهُ لَآ إِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Transliteration : Ḥasbiyallāhu lā ilāha illā huwa `alayhi tawakkalt, wa huwa Rabbu ‘l-`Arshi ‘l-‘Aẓīm.
Translation : Allah is sufficient for me. There is none worthy of worship but Him. I have placed my trust in Him, He is Lord of the Majestic Throne. (Recite 7 times in Arabic.) [Abu Dawud 4/321]
These supplications will in sha Allah grant you special protection from Allah against enemies and all calamities .Say these duas 1 or 3 times when leaving the house
#10 Dua Protection from enemy when going out of house
Allah’s last Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) said that Whoever says – meaning if he goes out of his house -: In the name of God, I put my trust in God, and there is no might or power except in God, it will be said to him: You have been guided, sufficed, and protected, and Satan will depart from him.
بسمِ اللهِ تَوكَّلتُ على اللهِ، ولا حولَ ولا قوَّةَ إلَّا باللهِ
Transliteration : bismillahay tawakkaltu ealaa allhi, wala howla wala quwwata ‘illa billah
Translation : In the name of God, I put my trust in God, and there is no might or power except in God,
#11 Dua
Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu’minin:
Allah’s Apostle Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) never went out of house without raising his eye to the sky and saying: “O Allah! I seek refuge in Thee lest I stray or be led astray, or slip or made to slip, or cause injustice, or suffer injustice, or do wrong, or have wrong done to me. [Sunan Abi Dawud 5094]
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَىَّ
Transliteration : Allahumma innee aAAoodu bika an adilla aw odal, aw azilla aw ozall, aw athlima aw othlam, aw ajhala aw yujhala AAalay.
Translation : O Allah! I seek refuge in Thee lest I stray or be led astray, or slip or made to slip, or cause injustice, or suffer injustice, or do wrong, or have wrong done to me
