“O Allah, grant me glory, for there is no glory except through good deeds, and there are no good deeds without wealth. O Allah, the little does not suffice me, and I cannot thrive on it.
Extended Dua of Sa’d ibn ‘Ubada (RA)
Lorem We can add these words to the dua also but we should replace the name “Saad” with our name when reading this dua. This is infact the complete dua
“O Allah, grant me glory, for there is no glory except through good deeds, and there are no good deeds without wealth. O Allah, the little does not suffice me, and I cannot thrive on it. If there were a caller announcing from the top of a mountain, ‘Whoever desires fat and meat, let him come to Sa’d,’ I would provide for them.”

He acknowledged that good deeds often require resources. Whether it’s feeding the hungry, supporting the community, or funding noble causes, wealth is a tool that enables Muslims to fulfill their obligations and perform acts of kindness.
3. Generosity as a Reflection of Faith
Sa’d (RA) exemplified generosity by declaring that he would provide for anyone in need, even if it meant giving away large quantities of food. This attitude demonstrates the spirit of selflessness encouraged in Islam, where the needs of others take precedence over personal comfort.
