Muntakhab ahadith
“Muntakhab ahadith” or “Selected Ahadith” is a book written by famous Islamic scholar Maulana Yusuf Kandhlawi. An authentic collection of Ahadith relating to the Six Qualities of Dawat and Tabligh is presented in this book . It was originally written in Arabic by Maulana Muhammad Yusuf Kandhlawi (R.A) during his last phase of dedicated service. The author obtained all relevant principles, rules, and precautions from their original sources. He has been so comprehensive and extensive that this book is not merely a compilation of these principles, rules and instructions. Rather, it might be considered a brief encyclopedia of their relative importance.

Brief Biography of Mualana Yusuf (RA)
Muhammad Yusuf Kandhlawi (RA) (1917-1965) was a famous Indian Islamic scholar who became the second ameer of the Tablighi Jamaat. after the founder Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi(RA)
He graduated at the age of 20, in 1936 (1355 AH).
Muhammad Yusuf memorized the Quran at the age of ten, from Hafiz Imam Khan Mewati. Syed Ahmad Faizabadi, the elder brother of Syed Husain Ahmad Madani, sent an honorary degree to Yusuf commemorating his memorization of the Quran.
Death : He died in Lahore in 1965, at the age of 48.
In 1965, Al-Kandhlawi made a long trip to Pakistan, where he traveled throughout the country, giving a long series of lectures and speeches, and holding a continuous series of meetings, with people from all strata of Pakistani society. Although he was not feeling well at the start of his trip, he continued with his heavy schedule, paying little attention to his deteriorating condition. On the final day of his trip, he was scheduled to give a major speech in Lahore, and although he was too ill to give such a speech, he felt that he could not let people down.
But the speech took its toll of his health. On finishing it, he was immediately taken to hospital, but he died on his way there, at the age of 48. His body was airlifted at night to Delhi.His funeral at Delhi was attended by at least two hundred thousand mourners. His funeral prayer was led by Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Muhammad Zakariya Kandhlawi (RA) and was buried next to the grave of his father Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi (RA).
