Dajjal and his signs ,followers and army
Dajjal is an Arabic word derived from “Dajal”. Dajal means illusion. The term Dajjal means someone who makes illusions. The reality is that Dajjal will create illusions by misguiding humanity and encouraging them to give up on the belief that there is only one God that exists. People will become non-believers or atheists as a result of him. He will make believe that this world is “not” a creation of God but created by its own self. He will persuade them to believe in the materialistic world. His mission will be to make humanity “atheist” so that they can go to hell with him.
Following is detailed information about Dajjal. It is the name of the greatest affliction that is warned by all prophets of Allah (Subhanahu wa ta ala). The same thing is said in the following hadith as well.
I heard the Messenger of Allah (Salallaho alayhay wa alehe wabarik wasallam) saying, “Between time of the creation of (prophet) Adam (alayhay salam) and the Resurrection Day, there is nothing greater than the mischief of Dajjal (the Antichrist).”(Sahih Muslim)
I heard the Messenger of Allah (Salallaho alayhay wa alehe wabarik wasallam) We used to go to Imran b. Husain passing in front of Hisham b. ‘Amir. He, one day, said: You pass by me (in order) to go to some persons, but (amongst the living persons) none remained in the company of Allah’s Messenger (Salallaho alayhay wa alehe wabarik wasallam) more than I and none knows more ahadith than I. I heard Allah’s Messenger (Salallaho alayhay wa alehe wabarik wasallam) as saying: There would be no creation (creating more trouble) than the Dajjal right from the creation of Adam to the Last Hour (Sahih Muslim 2946a) .

ToggleMain characteristics of Dajjal
Dajjal is the greatest affliction of all human history as written in the following ahadith.
The biggest trouble maker in history
Dajjal is the greatest affliction of all human history as written in the following ahadith.

Dajjal will spread atheism
Dajjal’s basic mission is to lead people towards the path that will take them to Hellfire forever. He will achieve this aim mainly by spreading atheism or Kufr (in Arabic).
Dajjal is blind of one eye and there is written between his eyes the word” Kafir”. He then spelled the word as k. f. r., which every Muslim would be able to read. Sahih Muslim 2933c
Why will Dajjal spread atheism
Only Islam teaches God’s Oneness in person and attributes. No other religion teaches the unity of God. For example Christians literally believe in 3 Gods i.e. The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. In fact Catholics associate saints also with the attributes of God. All these concepts about our sole creator are not logical and one can easily find major flaws in these beliefs. Only the concept of One God is natural and exists in our minds since birth. All children of the world can reach the Islamic concept of one creator naturally. However, not a single child can reach other religious concepts of God because they are all man-made and not natural.
Let me ask three questions to gain this understanding. Can any child or person come up with the following concepts with his own thinking and understanding in a natural way?
- the Christian concept of Father, the son and the holy spirit
- the Jewish concept of God loving only Jews and not punishing them for any of their sins.
- the Atheism concept of not being created by anyone and that all this highly organized Universe created by its own “automatically ?
Absolutely not.
In fact only Islamic concept of One God is natural and logical and anyone can reach this concept without the aid of any person or any book. But why will Dajjal spread atheism only?
The reason is simple because, except for Islam, all religions do not have a natural and logical concept of God, and therefore it is very easy to revert a person from any religion to Islam. I have been with a group of Islamic preachers, and they all agree on the fact that all polytheists can easily revert to Islam.
But atheism is spread using fake scientific knowledge that has no proof and is based on fake theories and even fake experiments that cannot be repeated to have the same results. For example, the slaves of Dajjal will bring an experiment that no one can access or that is too expensive to repeat in order to mislead humanity and take them to hell.
On many occasions, they mix lies with the truth. For example, evolution exists among animals, and evolution is mentioned in the Quran as well, but in order to mislead people, they include human beings in the evolution of all other animals, birds, and insects.
For this reason, Dajjal will use atheism to mislead people, and people cannot argue once they hear some “fake” scientific arguments (which are also created by the slaves of Dajjal).
Appearance of Dajjal
Dajjal is a human being and not a monster.
Dajjal is an ordinary human with one eye
Allah is not one-eyed and behold that Dajjal is blind of the right eye and his eye would be like a floating grape.`
Dajjal will enter all cities of the world in 40 days
Dajjal will enter all the cities of the world in 40 days except Makkah and Madina. Muslim (2942) narrated from the Hadeeth of Faatimah bint Qays, which tells the story of Tameem al-Daari and al-Jassaasah, that the Dajjaal said to them:
“Soon I will be given permission to emerge and I will emerge and travel throughout the land, and I will not leave any town but I will enter it within forty nights, apart from Makkah and Teebah, for they are both forbidden to me. Every time I want to enter one of them I will be met by an angel with an unsheathed sword in his hand, who will drive me back. Over each of their entrances there are angels guarding them.” [Faatimah] said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, striking the minbar with his stick, “This is Teebah, this is Teebah, this is Teebah,” meaning Madeenah. “Have I not told you that?” The people said, “Yes.” [The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:] “I liked what Tameem said because it agreed with what I have been telling you about him [the Dajjaal] and about Makkah and Madeenah.” [Saheeh Muslim 2942]
Dajjal cannot enter 2 cities
Dajjal cannot enter two cities.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “There will be no land which will not be trampled by Dajjal (the Antichrist) but Makkah and Al-Madinah; and there will be no passage leading to them which will not be guarded by the angels, arranged in rows. Dajjal will appear in a barren place adjacent to Al- Madinah and the city will be shaken three times. Allah will expel from it every disbeliever and hypocrite.”(Sahih Muslim)
Dajjal cannot enter 4 mosques Masjid-al-Aqsa and Mosque of sina
Dajjal will not be able to enter four mosques in the world , i.e Masjid-al-Haram , Masjid-e-Nabawai (salallaho alayhay wa alehe wabarik sallam) , Masjid-al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem) and mosque of the mountain of Toor (Sinai in Eygypt).
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I have been warning you about the Dajjaal who has one abraded eye.” [The narrators] said: I think he said the left eye. “He will have with him mountains of bread and rivers of water, and his sign will stay in the earth for forty mornings, and his authority will reach everywhere. He will not come to four mosques: the Ka’bah, the Mosque of the Prophet, al-Masjid al-Aqsa and the Mosque of al-Toor (Sinai).” [Ahmad (23139) ] Hadith classed as saheeh (authentic) by Shu’ayb al-Arna’oot in Tahqeeq al-Musnad.
Is there a mosque at the Mountain of Toor?
The mountain of Toor is also know as the mountain of Toor-e-Sina. It is the place mentioned in Quran .This is the place where Allah’s prophet Sayyinda Musa (alayhay salam) was first given prophethood by Allah (subhanahu wa ta ala). This is same place where Prophet Musa (alayhay wa salawat wa salam) talked to Allah (subhanahu wa ta ala) directly. This place is mentioned more than one occasion like in Surah Teen:
By the fig and the olive and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace.(95:1-3)
At present there is no major mosque in the mountain of Toor (Sinai Eygypt) .There is a small mosque present there. This also shows the control of followers of Dajjal as they try not to build a major mosque in this area.
Dajjal will make life difficult for those who dont follow him
Dajjal is the greatest affliction of all human history as written in the following ahadith.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said about Ad-Dajjal that he would have water and fire with him: (what would seem to be) fire, would be cold water and (what would seem to be) water, would be fire.(Sahih al-Bukhari 7130)

(only the related part of the Hadith)
Translation (only the related part of the Hadith) :
……. When Allahs Messenger ﷺ had finished his prayer, he sat on the pulpit smiling and said: Every worshipper should keep sitting at his place. He then said: Do you know why I had asked you to assemble? They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: By Allah. I have not made you assemble for exhortation or for a warning, but I have detained you here, for Tamim Dari, a Christian, who came and accepted Islam, told me something, which agrees with what I was telling, you about the Dajjal. He narrated to me that he had sailed in a ship along with thirty men of Bani Lakhm and Bani Judham and had been tossed by waves in the ocean for a month. Then these (waves) took them (near) the land within the ocean (island) at the time of sunset. They sat in a small side-boat and entered that Island. There was a beast with long thick hair (and because of these) they could not distinguish his face from his back. They said: Woe to you, who can you be? Thereupon it said: I am al-Jassasa. They said: What is al-Jassasa? And it said: O people, go to this person in the monastery as he is very much eager to know about you. He (the narrator) said: When it named a person for us we were afraid of it lest it should be a Devil. Then we hurriedly went on till we came to that monastery and found a well-built person there with his hands tied to his neck and having iron shackles between his two legs up to the ankles. We said: Woe be upon thee, who are you? And he said: You would soon come to know about me, but tell me who are you. We said: We are people from Arabia and we embarked upon a boat but the sea-waves had been driving us for one month and they brought as near this island. We got into the side-boats and entered this island and here a beast met us with profusely thick hair and because of the thickness of his hair his face could not be distinguished from his back. We said: Woe be to thee, who are you? It said: I am al- Jassasa. We said: What is al-Jassasa? And it said: You go to this very person in the monastery for he is eagerly waiting for you to know about you. So we came to you in hot haste fearing that that might be the Devil. He (that chained person) said: Tell me about the date-palm trees of Baisan. We said: About what aspect of theirs do you seek information? He said: I ask you whether these trees bear fruit or not.
We said: Yes. Thereupon he said: I think these would not bear fruits. He said: Inform me about the lake of Tabariyya? We said: Which aspect of it do you want to know? He said: Is there water in it? They said: There is abundance of water in it. Thereupon he said: I think it would soon become dry. He again said: Inform me about the spring of Zughar. They said: Which aspect of it you want to know? He (the chained person) said: Is there water in it and does it irrigate (the land)? We said to him: Yes, there is abundance of water in it and the inhabitants (of Madinah) irrigate (land) with the help of it, He said: Inform me about the unlettered Prophet; what has he done? We said: He has come out from Makkah and has settled In Yathrib (Madinah). He said: Do the Arabs fight against him? We said: Yes. He said: How did he deal with them? We informed him that he had overcome those in his neighbourhood and they had submitted themselves before him. Thereupon, he said to us: Had it actually happened? We said: Yes. Thereupon he said: If it is so that is better for them that they should show obedience to him. I am going to tell you about myself and I am Dajjal and would be soon permitted to get out and so I shall get out and travel in the land, and will not spare any town where I would not stay for forty nights except Makkah and Madinah as these two (places) are prohibited (areas) for me and I would not make an attempt to enter any one of these two. An angel with a sword in his hand would confront me and would bar my way and there would be angels to guard every passage leading to it; then Allahs Messenger ﷺ striking the pulpit with the help of the end of his staff said: This implies Taiba meaning Madinah. Have I not, told you an account (of the Dajjal) like this? The people said: Yes, and this account narrated by Tamim Dari was liked by me for it corroborates the account which I gave to you in regard to him (Dajjal) at Madinah and Makkah. Behold he (Dajjal) is in the Syrian sea (Mediterranian) or the Yemen sea (Arabian sea). Nay, on the contrary, he As In the east, he is in the east, he is in the east, and he pointed with his hand towards the east.[Saheeh Muslim , Hadith 7386]
Analysis of Hadith of Tameem Dari (R.A)
Will Dajjal be in a remote island in sea?
In the above Hadith, we see that Allah’s Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) was happy with the events that happened with Tameem Dari because some of the events he (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) has already told the Muslims like
- Dajjal will not enter Madina and Makkah
But at the same time Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) did NOT approve that Dajjal is in sea as we can see he (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) said :
Nay, on the contrary, he As In the east, he is in the east, he is in the east, and he pointed with his hand towards the east
Was the person in chain the real Dajjal?
According to many Ahadith , Dajjal has the following properties in his appearance
- One eye. Other eye has no vision and it is like grape.
- On the forehead ,every faithful can see K – F – R which means Kuffer
- Seeing one eye in shape of a grape and without vision in that person
- Seeing K-F-R (Kuffar) written on the forehead of the person.
This means that person was not the real Dajjal, but he has some correct information about the real Dajjal.
But is also possible that the above two signs will appear in Dajjal in the end times when he appears. Allah knows the best
Can the person in chains be among the 30 liar Dajjals?
The person in chain can be one of the 30 Dajjals which are mentioned in Ahadith .
Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA):
The Prophet ﷺ said, “The Hour will not be established till there is a war between two groups among whom there will be a great number of casualties, though the claims (or religion) of both of them will be one and the same. And the Hour will not be established till there appear about thirty Liar Dajjals, all of whom will be claiming to be the messengers of Allah. ” (Saheeh Bokhari Hadith 3909)
Conclusion
Dajjal is not in the sea but in the East of Madinah.
#2 Dajjal as a person called Ibn Sayyad.
Hadith about Ibn Sayyad

Translation:
Sayyidina lbn Umar (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger and some of his sahabah, Umar (RA) among them, passed by Ibn Sayyad. He was playing with some children near the fort of Banu Maghalah. He was a child and did not perceive that the Prophet ﷺ come until he touched him on his back with his hand and said, Do you bear witness that I am Allah’s Messenger ?“ Ibn Sayyad looked at him and said, ‘I bear witness that you are the Messenger for the unlettered.” Then he said to the Prophet ﷺ , “Do you bear witness that I am Allah’s Messenger ?“ The Prophet ﷺ said, “I believe in Allah and His Messenger He then asked, “What do you get (of news)?” Ibn Sayyad said, “I get true and false (information).” So the Prophet ﷺ ‘ said, “It is confused over you.” He then said, “I think of something about you” and he thought for him the verse: When the heaven shall bring a manifest smoke. (44: 10). So, Ibn Sayyad said, “It is smoke.” Allah’s Messenger said, “Off you go! You cannot go beyond that.” Umar (RA) said, “O Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ‘ allow me to strike off his neck!” But, Allah’s Messenger said, “If he is true, you will have no power over him. But if he is not then there is no good in killing him.” Abdur Razzaq said, “that meant the dajjal.” [Ahmed 6368]
Analysis of Hadith of Ibn Sayyad
Is Ibn Sayyad the read Dajjal?
In the above Hadith, we see that Allah’s Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) was in doubt about Ibn Sayyad that he was Dajjal. That is why Allah’s Prophet ( (صلي الله عليه وآله وبارك وسلم) told Hazrat Umar (RA)
- If he is true, you will have no power over him. But if he is not, then there is no good in killing him.
Then who can be Ibn Sayyad?
It is possible that Ibn Sayyad is also one of the 30 liar Dajjals as mentioned in the previous Hadith
Conclusion
Ibn Siyyad is not the Dajjal of the end times.
#3 Dajjal from the East of Madinah.
The following Ahadith are about an incident related to a hypocrite called Zul-Khuwaisara from Banu Tameem tribe who came from the East of Madina from a place called Najd.
Hadith about offspring's of Zul-Khawaisara
Narrated Abu Saeed y: While the Prophet r was distributing something, ‘Abdullah bin Dhil Khawaisira At-Tamimi came and said: “Be just, O Allah’s Apostle!” The Prophet r said: “Woe to you! Who would be just if I were not?” ‘Umar y bin Al-Khattab said: “Allow me to cut off his neck!”. The Prophet said: “Leave him, for he has companions, and if you compare your prayers with their prayers and your fasting with theirs, you will look down upon your prayers and fasting, in comparison to theirs. Yet they will go out of the religion as an arrow darts through the game’s body in which case, if the Qudhadh of the arrow is examined, nothing will be found on it, and when it is Nasl is examined, nothing will be found on it; and then it is Nadiyi is examined, nothing will be found on it. The arrow has been too fast to be smeared by dung and blood. The sign by which these people will be recognized will be a man whose one hand (or breast) will be like the breast of a woman (or like a moving piece of flesh). These people will appear when there will be differences among the people (Muslims)”. Abu Saeed added: “I testify that I heard this from the Prophet, and also testify that Ali y killed those people while I was with him. The man with the description given by the Prophet r was brought to Ali y. The following verses were revealed in connection with that very person ‘and among them are men who accuse you (O Muḥammad) in the matter of (the distribution of) the alms.’ (Quran 9.58).[Ṣaḥīḥ Bukhari, Vol. 3, Ḥadīth 1839.]
Hadith about location of Zul-Khawaisara
Following ḥadīth are also tells of the same event mentioned before in the ḥadīth, and tells us that the afflictions will start from the offspring of Zul-Khuwaisara of Banu Tamim, and it is location is the Najd.
Narrated Abu Said Al Khudri y: When Ali y was in Yemen, he sent some gold in it is ore to the Prophet. Our Dear Prophet distributed it among Al-Aqra’ bin Habis Al-Hanzali who belonged to Banu Mujashi, ‘Uyaina bin Badr Al-Fazari, ‘Alqamah bin ‘Ulathah Al-’Amiri, who belonged to the Banu Kilab tribe and Zaid AI-Khail At-Ta’i who belonged to Banu Nabhan. So the Quraish and the Ansar became angry and said: “He gives to the chiefs of Najd and leaves us!” The Prophet said: “I just wanted to attract and unite their hearts (make them firm in Islam)”. Then there came a man with sunken eyes, bulging forehead, thick beard, fat raised cheeks, and clean-shaven head, and said: “O Muḥammad! Be afraid of Allah! “The Prophet r said: “Who would obey Allah if I disobeyed Him? (Allah). He trusts me over the people of the earth, but you do not trust me?” A man from the people (present then), who, I think, was Khalid bin Al-Walid y, asked for permission to kill him, but the Prophet prevented him. When the man went away, the Prophet said: “Out of the offspring of this man, there will be people who will recite the Qur’an but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out of Islam as an arrow goes out through the game, and they will kill the Muslims and leave the idolaters. Should I live till they appear, I would kill them as the Killing of the nation of ‘Ad”. [Saheeh Bokhari Vol 3 , Hadith 2300]
East of affliction is the same as Najd
The following ḥadīth is also related to Zul-Khuwaisara since it also tells us about the hypocrites who reading the Qur’an but it will not pass their thoughts. Also this hadith shows that the land of afflictions from the “East” is the same as Najd.
It was narrated by Abdullah bin Umar that I heard, the Messenger of Allah saying that: ‘Soon among my nation (Muslim Ummah) there will appear people from the east who will recite Qur’an but it will not go any deeper than their collarbones or their throats. Whenever any of their offspring will appear, they will be eliminated. He repeated this 10 times and then said until in the last of them will appear with the Dajjal (Anti-Christ).
Offspring's of Zul-Khuwaisara with shaved heads
It was narrated that Sharik bin Shihab said: “I used to wish that I could meet a man among the Companions of The Prophet and ask him about the Khawarij. Then I met Abu Barzah on the day of Eid, with a number of his companions. I said to him: ‘Did you hear the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم mention the Khawarij?’ He said: ‘Yes. I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم with my own ears, and saw him with my own eyes. Some wealth was brought to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and he distributed it to those on his right and on his left, but he did not give anything to those who were behind him. Then a man stood behind him and said: “Muḥammad! You have not been just in your division!” He was a man with black patchy (shaved) hair, wearing two white garments. So Allah’s Messenger صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, became very angry and said: “By Allah! You will not find a man after me who is more just than me”. Then he said: “A people will come at the end of time; as if he is one of them, reciting the Qur’an without it passing beyond their throats. They will go through Islam just as the arrow goes through the target. Their distinction will be shaving. They will not cease to appear until the last of them comes with Al-Masih Al the Dajjal. So when you meet them, then kill them, they are the worst of created beings”. [Sunan Nisai , Vol 3 , Hadith 407]
We see that in the above ḥadīth the same person Zul-Khuwaisara of Banu Tamim is mentioned in the same incident. So it proves that the Dajjal will join the Banu Tamim from the Najd.
Offspring's of Zul-Khuwaisara joining Dajjal
The following Hadith shows that off srpings of Zul Khuwaisara of Banu Tameem tribe from Najd will make the “khawarij” and not only that, but they will keep on appearing in different times until the last of them will join Dajjal
The following ḥadīth tells us about the same incident, and this further tells us that the Dajjal will come among the offspring of the Banu Tamim tribe from the Najd.

We see that in the above ḥadīth the same person Zul-Khuwaisara of Banu Tamim is mentioned in the same incident. So it proves that the Dajjal will join the Banu Tamim from the Najd
Analysis of previous Ahadith about Dajjal from the East (Najd)
The following points are clear from the above Ahadith.
- From the offspring of a hypocrite called “Zul Khawaisra” ,great afflictions will come
- His offsprings will appear again and again and bring afflictions to the Muslim world.
- They will read Quran, but Quran will not pass their throats. Meaning that Quran will not affect their hearts.
- The last of his offsprings will join Dajjal.
- These followers of Dajjal will the tribe of Banu Tameem
- Their location in Hadith is referred as Najd or the East. Both have the same meaning, as Najd lies in the East of Madina.
Banu Tameem is a very large tribe and it is not only limited in Najd.Note that all Banu Tameem will not join Dajjal. According to hadith, some Banu Tameem will stand against Dajjal also. Only the Banu Tameem from Najd will join Dajjal
Conclusion
Dajjal’s army will consist of people from Najd area from the Banu Tameem tribe and they will be reading Quran beautifully but Quran will not effect their hearts
#4 Dajjal's army from broad faced people of Khurasan
Ahadith tells us that many nations of Khurasan who have broad, round, fleshy faces(resembling almost like Mongols), will join the army of the Dajjal.
Please check the following ḥadīth telling us about the army of the Dajjal with faces like shields.
Hadith of broad-faced people
Narrated ‘Amr y bin Taghlib: The Prophet said: “One of the portents of the Hour is that you will fight with people wearing shoes made of hair; and one of the portents of the Hour is that you will fight with broad-faced people whose faces will look like shields coated with leather”. [ Saheeh Bokhari Vol 4 ,Book 52 , Hadith 178]
Hadith 9
Narrated by Amr ibn Hurayth y who quoted Abu Bakr Al Siddiq y as saying that Allah’s Messenger r told them the Dajjal would come forth from a land in the east called Khurasan, followed by people whose faces resembled shields covered with skin . [ Sunan Ibn Majah , Kitab-al-fitan Hadith 4072]
Hadith 10
Allah’s Messenger r said: “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Turks; people with small eyes, red faces, and flat noses. Their faces will look like shields coated with leather. The Hour will not be established till you fight with people whose shoes are made of hair”. [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Book 52, Ḥadīth 179]
Hadith 11
Narrated by Amr ibn Hurayth y quoted Abu Bakr As-Siddiq as saying that Allah’s Messenger (SAWS) told them that the Dajjal would come forth from a land in the east called Khurasan, followed by people whose faces resembled shields covered with skin (round and fat fleshy faces like shields). [ Masnad Ahmad, Vol. 1, Ḥadīth 33. , Jamia Tirimzi 2237]
Analysis of Hadith 9 , 10,11
Who in the region of Khurasan have faces like shields or flat faces?
In Central Asia and Khurasan, the “Turkic people” who are originally Mongols but have adopted Turkish culture have round faces as described in the above ḥadīth.
These include
- Tajik
- Uzbek
- Hazara
- Turkeman
- Kazakh,
In fact most of the Central Asian states are related to Mongols and have broad faces.
Tajiks claim to be Persian and have Caucasian features but more than a 1000 years of Turk-Mongol rule over them, and the intermixing have Turkicised them. As told in the words of Encyclopedia Britannica 1997:
“Tajik people have been turkicised in the past centuries”
Most of the Tajiks even have faces like the Mongol people i.e.: round faces like shields as told in the ḥadīth.
Mongol connections with the Central Asian Turkic Muslims
According to H.G Keene :
“The distinction between Turk and Mongol is not altogether a natural distinction, but one preceding from comparatively recent, and artificial causes … cause arising out of a fusion, more or less complete, of Tajik and Tartar . It is maybe going too far to conclude that a Mongol is merely a Turk in embryo a Turk little more than a civilised and circumcised Mongol or Tartar; But Mongol in Turkish mouths, becomes “Moghol”; the Persians, softening stili further, turn it into “Mughul,” or “Mughal;” and thus the words
“Mughal Empire” in India”. [The Turks in India: Critical Chapters on the Administration of that Country, By Henry George Keene, page 1.]
Conclusion
Only the disobedient from these nations will make Dajjal’s army
Not of all these Nations of Khurasan with broad fleshy faces will follow Dajjal Of course, only the disobedient will follow Dajjal. We can never say all of these nations will follow Dajjal.
#5 Dajjal's first appearance between Syria and Iraq

An-Nawwas b. Sam`an reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) made a mention of the Dajjal one day in the morning. He (ﷺ) sometimes described him to be insignificant and sometimes described (his turmoil) as very significant (and we felt) as if he were in the cluster of the date-palm trees. When we went to him (to the Holy Prophet) in the evening and he read (the signs of fear) in our faces, he (ﷺ) said:
Analysis
Dajjal’s afflictions will start long before his public appearance. He will be travelling everywhere secretly spreading his afflictions . But his first appearance will be in the end times between Syria and Iraq .
#6 Dajjal's appearance and army from Isfahan (a city in Iran)
Hadith 13
Anas b. Malik y reported that Allah’s Messenger r said: ‘The Dajjal would be followed by seventy thousand Jews of Isfahan wearing Tayalisi hoods on their heads’ [Saheeh Muslim , Vol 3 , Hadith 2892]
Hadith 14
Narrated Anas b. Malik y: our Dear Prophet said that the Dajjal will appear from the “Yahudia” city of Isphahan (Iran), and there will be seventy thousand Jews with him with “Saijan” sheets over them.” [Masnad Ahmad,Vol 5, Ḥadīth 2306]
Analysis of Hadith 13 ,14
The Meaning of Tayalisah or Taylasan
The following references will clear the meaning of a tayalisah.
- M.T. Houtsma writes that: “Al tayalisah, is the plural of taylasan, a piece of clothing that covers the head-dress and sometimes also the shoulders (see Dozy, Dictionnaire detaille des noms des vetements chez les arabes, p 278 sqq)”.[First Encyclopaedia of Islam” by M. T. Houtsma]
- Yedida Kalfon Stillman, Norman A. Stillman writes: “The taylasan was a shawl-like head cloth which was considered a typically Khaybari Jewish garment”. [ Arab Dress: A Short History from the Dawn of Islam to Modern Times, By Yedida Kalfon Stillman, Norman A. Stillman, page 18.]
So, we see that the tayalisah is a piece of cloth, or small shawl that covers the head, and sometimes shoulders.
The Meaning of Saijan
Saijan is also Tayalisah but with green colour.
